The network
The Alto Juruá / Yurúa / Alto Tamaya Transboundary Commission works alongside a diverse network of allied organizations and communities in Peru and Brazil. These alliances strengthen the collective defense of territories, forests, and Amazonian cultures.
At least 14 Indigenous peoples inhabit the territories between the state of Acre in Brazil and the department of Ucayali in Peru. The following peoples are part of the Transboundary Commission:
